What a week - 3 first experiences!

It has been a tiring week for me. Had just finished a major project wrap-up and yet another new one is coming along. The worse is to get no appreciation for what you have done. That aside, everything else is still ok. Anyway, it's all a learning experience.

Besides work, this week can be considered interesting and full of events for me. First, let's celebrate my blog's 1-week-old anniversary! I can't imagine ever having a blog. Credit goes to my hubby for his motivation of venturing out to try some sort of online garage sale - like what most people did in eBay auctions. But what we are working towards to is more of a blog shop, bringing the best of what I like (Hello Kitty and iPod) to everyone out there, at the best reasonable price we can afford. Take a look at
http://kitty-shop.blogspot.com/ and you will get to see the items I value so much. A smart guess will reveal the reason why I named my blog shop "The treasures of the lost kitten". They are indeed meaningful and precious in one and every way. And I would like to share that wonderful feeling with friends of similar interests.

Ok, back to lost kitten's adventures in this week. Besides setting up this blog and my blog shop, I am tasked by my friend to seek out a 2nd gen iPod nano 8GB black player, to be in new and sealed condition. We checked out so many retail shops in Singapore but all are no longer selling the 2nd gen players. It's now all the new gen releases. In my last attempt, I made a daring promise to my friend to get her one online. That brings me to sign up an eBay account and a Paypal account. And what a terrible experience I have... I am still unable to place a bid despite having submitted my credit details to Paypal and eBay for verification. All I can do now is see each iPod bid closing... So so so sad.... :( But I will keep trying.

Now to the third event in the week... it is the first time I experience the toil of "running your own biz". Even though it's only the first few customers enquiring and placing their orders for the Hello Kitty mouse and Hello Kitty webcam, it certainly tests you on your skills in handling the questions and making sure that the items are shipped out on time. Phew! It's tiring, a little scary, definitely exciting and gee... an unforgetable life experience! I felt so happy when I brought my first parcel to the post office. Looking down at the parcel nicely wrapped in matching Hello Kitty gift wrapper, I told myself to live and remember that moment 'coz it will be a milestone in my life. :)

Yup, so much so for the 3 first experiences in a week. All I need now is to re-charge, lay back on my sofa and enjoy a movie or two. :)
